Happy new year, everyone!

Hey, Sorry I've been gone so long but I have been busy, busy, busy at work.  It is time for our National Sales Meeting and so in addition to the holidays, there is a lot of preparation (and overtime) at the office and at home.

Anyone have some resolutions that they are kicking off today?  One of mine is to eat better, like I used to.  I prepared for this by finishing off the pumpkin pie ice cream before the midnight hour last night so that I could start the new year right, while not wasting precious ice cream.  Clever, eh?  I made it about six hours into the new year (spent sleeping, of course) before I got myself a bowl of Target brand cinnamon toast crunch equivalent.  I righted the wrong by having a lunch of pears topped with lite yogurt and some freshly cracked nuts.

Other resolutions here:

1. Get back in shape (except right now the chiropracter says no gym)

2. Ride my new bike I got for Christmas (when the chiropracter will let me)

3. Learn to spell chiropracter with confidence

4. Stop shopping at Walmart, regardless of the low prices (you just know you will hear more on that later)

I think that is it for now, I'll come up with more later.

Anyway, I have been pondering the direction of the blog.  While I do enjoy posting the amusing pictures, I don't want my blog to be graphics dependent.  I mean, the other day, my husband and I were out at 3:00 in the morning trying to get a good picture of a fast food chicken icon for the blog.  I knew then that I was just too graphics dependent.  But, then I am torn, as I am teaching myself Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro!

So, the short of it is that the blog will be a little bit diary and musings, and a little bit of graphics amusement.

I'm off to shop, so happy 2004 everybody!
